Draft — counsel review required
This disclaimer governs your use of Sunward Visas. Please read it carefully — it explains what this service is, what it is not, and the limits of what it can do for you.
Not a law firm; general information only
Sunward Visas is not a law firm and is not a substitute for an attorney or accredited immigration representative. We provide general self-help information only — not legal advice, legal opinions, recommendations, or representation — and using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. We do not choose visas for you or complete or submit applications on your behalf. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney.
No individualized advice or recommendation
Our content describes what applicants for a given visa are generally asked to do. It never tells you which visa you should choose or what you should do in your particular case. The visa finder presents visas whose published criteria match the answers you enter; it does not rank or recommend any of them.
We never act as your agent
We do not complete or submit any government form for you, and we never contact Colombian authorities on your behalf. You enter, review, and submit your own application through the official government portal.
No guarantee of any outcome
Sunward Visas provides information and self-help tools only. We do not guarantee that any visa will be approved, granted, or processed in any timeframe. Visa decisions are made solely by the Colombian government. Your use of (or purchase from) this site pays for access to information and tools — not for a visa or any immigration outcome.
Always verify with official Colombian sources
Requirements, fees, and deadlines change. Every figure we show is indexed to a single source and dated, but you must confirm the current rules on the official portals before applying:
- Cancillería — visa information and fees
- SITAC — the official online application
- Migración Colombia — cédula and Check-Mig
Accuracy of figures
Peso amounts are indexed to the current Colombian minimum wage (SMMLV) and USD equivalents are indicative only — the Colombian peso figure is the binding one. Where official sources conflict (for example, decision time or the issuance-payment window), we show the range and note that the approval email or portal states the binding figure.
When to consult a professional
Complex situations — a criminal record, a prior overstay or visa cancellation, dependents, or tax questions — merit a licensed Colombian attorney and, for tax, a cross-border accountant. This site is a starting point, not a replacement for professional advice.
